Bothered Stories: A Level Up Success!

We are thrilled to share that co-working member Allison Whaley officially launched her business, Bothered Stories!

Bothered Stories is a site for smart, smutty fiction. Allison incubated this business while working at the Asterisk this past year and workshopped many of its ideas through the Asterisk's Level Up program for small business owners and entrepreneurs (more about this HERE). 

Bothered Stories releases new writing regularly from a diverse slate of bestselling authors and emerging voices. Think of them as your 🌶️spicy friend with a good eye, great taste, and a library of the most compelling shortform smut available. Friends of the Asterisk can use code BOTHEREDFRIENDS to sign up! 

In addition to the site, she launched Bothered Stories: Smut Talks, the podcast. The first episode explores the Heated Rivalry craze and what it means for romance and queer stories; the second (releasing this week) dives into why telling Latin American stories is so important right now.
