Communtiy Connection Happy Hour
Join Creative Fusion Hub* in a celebration of new connections and healing for ourselves and our communites.
Come, center and meet people who want to ring in a new way together. We will begin with a brief grounding exercise and then we will share our ideas on creating community. As we envision a new sense of community, we will playfully create a collaborative vision board. We will end with some fun music and mingling.
*Creative Fusion Hub: We are three therapist/healer/artists who enjoy co-creation and play.

Now, more than ever, we need a wide diversity of tools for strategy, dialogue, and collective action. In a time of deep injustice and political urgency, Theatre of the Oppressed (TO) offers a vital practice for building power, sharpening our analysis, strengthening relationships, and rehearsing the liberated futures we are fighting for.
This hands-on workshop introduces TO as a liberatory methodology for developing impactful justice movements and action. Originally developed by Brazilian theater-maker and political visionary Augusto Boal, TO is used by communities around the world to challenge oppression, strengthen collective understanding, and imagine new ways forward. This is not theater for the stage—it’s REHEARSAL for the REVOLUTION.

Join us at The Asterisk for a community gathering focused on starting seeds, exchanging seeds, and building container gardens. Whether you're a seasoned gardener or just getting started, this is a great opportunity to connect, learn, and contribute.
What’s Happening?
Seed Starting & Sharing – Get free seeds to start your spring garden, share what you have, and learn about seed starting techniques.
Container Garden Build – Help us construct new container gardens for the community!
Hands-On Gardening – Plant seed starters and take some home to nurture.
What to Bring (Optional):
Seeds to share (but don’t worry if you don’t have any!)
Newspaper or compostable paper cups
A small bag of soil or compost
We have a couple of garden beds to build, and a LOT of seeds to share.
Your participation helps us grow food, knowledge, and connections in our community. Come for the seeds, stay for the fun! We’d love to see you there!
